These terms apply when you submit a song to Pitchorado, a free service of Skyrocket Digital LLC (“we”). By submitting, you accept them.
1. Your song
You confirm that you are the artist or are authorised by the artist, that you hold the rights needed to submit the song, and that the song is released on Spotify. The song must not infringe anyone else’s rights.
You also confirm that the song is not AI-generated: vocals, instruments, lyrics and composition were created by people. Using AI only as a minor tool, for example for mastering, is fine. We check songs for signs of AI generation and may decline or remove a song if we find them.
2. What we may do
If we accept your song, you allow us, free of charge and without a time limit for content already published, to:
- add the song to one of our Spotify playlists and keep it there for up to 8 weeks;
- show the song title, artist name, cover art and links on pitchorado.com;
- mention you in posts on Bluesky or other social networks and create a share graphic for you;
- analyse a public 30-second preview of the song with software to judge whether it fits a playlist.
We do not upload, copy or distribute the audio of your song ourselves, except as described in the next paragraph. Listening happens on Spotify.
Short videos (optional)
If you tick the box for short videos, you additionally allow us, free of charge and non-exclusively, to use an excerpt of up to 30 seconds of your song as background music in short promotional videos about the Pitchorado playlist your song is in, and to publish these videos on social networks such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. We credit you by name. We only use the MP3 that you upload with your submission. If your song is not accepted, we delete the file. You confirm that you hold, or are authorised to grant, the rights in both the recording and the composition needed for this. You can withdraw this permission at any time for future videos (see section 6); videos already published may remain.
3. No payment, no guarantee
Submitting is free and spots cannot be bought. We decide freely which songs we add, for how long and in which position. We may remove a song at any time without giving a reason.
4. Support each other
Pitchorado works because artists support each other. If your song is in a playlist, please listen to the other songs too, follow the artists you like and share the whole playlist.
5. Fair play
No bots, no bought streams or followers, and no artificial plays. If we notice this, we remove the song and may exclude the artist from future submissions.
6. Withdrawal
You can ask us at any time to remove your song or not to mention you any more. Write to curator@pitchorado.com. We will remove it from the playlist and the website within a reasonable time; posts already published may remain.
7. Liability
We provide Pitchorado as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damage, lost streams or lost income.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, unless mandatory consumer protection law of your country provides otherwise.
